Rachel Fish

Postdoctoral Fellow

Rachel Fish is a postdoctoral research associate in the Center for Research on Educational Opportunity (CREO) at the University of Notre Dame. She received her Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2015 under the advisement of Adam Gamoran.  Her research examines the role of schools in stratification by race, ethnicity, and other social factors, recently focusing on how race/ethnicity and gender shape the emergence of disability and giftedness in schools, and how this process contributes the production of inequality.
