Talia Strong

CREO Graduate Student

Talia Strong is a first-year graduate student within the Sociology Department and the Center for Research on Educational Opportunity. She received her Master's in Public Administration (High Distinction) and BA in History (Magna Cum Laude) from Brigham Young University. Prior to attending Notre Dame, she worked in both higher education administration and nonprofit management to increase college access and success among historically underrepresented youth.

Her research interests include the sociology of education, culture, stratification, and social psychology. More specifically, she is interested in investigating how self-efficacy, cultural scripts, and resilience factor into college matriculation and graduation.
